A journey that was started in Makerere University when she was Vice President of the College of Business and Management Sciences, Winnie had a dream to unite Africa. Today, as President of the Pan African Movement, Africa & Diaspora, she has turned that dream into action. Under her leadership, the movement has collaborated with the East African Chamber of Commerce to organize major events like Business Conferences in Zanzibar,

DRC, Kenya, among many others, creating platforms for entrepreneurs to trade, network, and grow a regional entrepreneurship movement. She has also strengthened partnerships with key organizations to help young poor women and shape policies by working with FEMNET, AFRODAD, and the Africa Parliamentary Network on Illicit Financial Flows, championing women’s and youth’s voices, tax justice, and economic freedom. Through engagements with ambassadors, African kingdoms like the Ngoni and Zulu, and active outreach to universities and youth spaces, Winnie has built bridges across culture, leadership, and diplomacy, inspiring a new generation committed to a united and prosperous Africa.

Winnie’s leadership is marked by a commitment to nurturing partnerships and driving business development. Thus she has become a full-fledged passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment, climate action, and youth engagement—key areas that align with the future of Africa’s growth. This explains her strategic initiatives which have consistently aimed at creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs, addressing climate challenges, and supporting sustainable business practices.

As a relentless champion for good governance and transparency, Winnie is fully dedicated to realizing the Pan-African Movement’s objectives of economic cooperation and development. Her work emphasizes the importance of empowering the youth, harnessing the potential of AfCFTA, and ensuring inclusive growth across the region. Winnie’s efforts continue to inspire and mobilize stakeholders towards a united, prosperous, and sustainable Africa.

Henry Mwinuka

Vice President

Henry Mwinuka is the Co-Founder and Partner at Avis Legal. He has also taught law at the Faculty of Law-Tumaini University Iringa between 2013-2019 where he equally served as the Associate Dean at the Faculty of Law. His areas of interest included Cyber law, Corporate and Investment law and Arbitration. As a seasonal practitioner Henry believes in serving clients and the community in that Lawyers ought to also apportion their times in helping the needless and empowering the Youth by cultivating the culture of Volunteerism as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Michael Arega

Head of Youth Department

He is a committed Pan-Africanist and youth leader with a strong foundation in student leadership, movement building, and strategic communication. He is a former university student leader and former President of the Student Command of the Pan African Congress, where he championed African unity, youth political consciousness, and transformative leadership.

He served as a consultant with Afrivision and as a Director at Afribeyondora, platforms dedicated to reshaping Africa’s narrative through positive storytelling, innovation, and youth-driven solutions. As he takes on the responsibility of leading the Youth Organisation within the Pan African Movement, his focus is on mobilising young people, strengthening ideological clarity, and nurturing a generation that believes in Africa’s power, dignity, and future.

Guided by Pan-African values and driven by purpose, hhe remains committed to empowering African youth to lead boldly, influence policy, and actively shape the continent’s destiny.

Mr. Omwoyo Maranga

Head of Communication

Mr. Omwoyo Maranga is distinguished communication strategist and political communication advisor based in Kenya, renowned for his strategic expertise in shaping narratives and driving impactful engagement in high-stakes environments.

As the CEO of FixitPR, he leads a dynamic firm specializing in public relations, strategic communications, and innovative digital solutions. With extensive experience in corporate communication, crisis management, and political communication, Maranga has advised numerous political parties across Kenya, helping them craft compelling messages, manage public perception, and navigate complex electoral landscapes.

He currently serves as a Senior Communication Advisor to the Governor of Nyamira County, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the county’s development agenda through effective public engagement, media relations, and strategic messaging.
A passionate Pan-Africanist, Maranga deeply admires Africa’s potential for growth, integration, and unity. He actively advocates for stronger continental collaboration, economic cooperation, and shared prosperity, drawing inspiration from the vision of a united Africa that harnesses its collective strengths to thrive on the global stage.

In addition to his communication prowess, Maranga brings valuable experience in designing digital products, with a particular focus on tools and platforms that enhance communication effectiveness, audience reach, and stakeholder interaction in the digital era.

Through his blend of strategic insight, political acumen, crisis expertise, and digital innovation, Omwoyo Maranga continues to influence Kenya’s communication and political spheres while championing Africa’s brighter future.
